Do you create illustrations/creations different from those visible on the website?
Yes, certainly! For any requests, you can contact me via email without immediately placing an order. I will be happy to evaluate your request.
What is the difference between a digital painting and an acrylic painting?
A digital painting means hand-drawn on Procreate using a graphic tablet and then printed on 270 g paper. An acrylic painting means painted directly on paper using acrylic colors.
Does a digital painting have less value?
No! There is as much effort behind a digital drawing as there is for a drawing on paper, the difference lies in the convenience of sending files and execution.
How do I order my portrait?
You can order your personalised portrait by clicking “Ask for information” on its page. That way you contact me directly and we can talk through all the details: price, colours and timings. In your email, tell me how many subjects you want to include (people and animals), whether you need the portrait for a specific date and any special requests.
What do you need to create a classic family portrait?
For the creation, I will need 2/4 high-quality photos per subject where the face is clearly visible and at least one where the bust is visible. You don’t need to send photos of the subjects in the same photo, as my work generally (unless there are specific requests) is not a copy of an existing photo but a mix of various photos to create one that has never been taken before. The photos should not be grainy or too old if you intend to create a “current” portrait.
What is the turnaround time for a portrait?
The timeline for creating a portrait depends on the number of ongoing orders and the time of year. During the Christmas season, the turnaround time can be much longer due to the high volume of orders, so I suggest planning ahead. Typically, in normal periods, the turnaround time is about 2 weeks.
Is it possible to see the portrait before delivery?
Certainly, before the final delivery, you will receive a preview of the almost finished portrait via email. Once you confirm that there are no requests or modifications, the portrait can no longer be modified.
Can I modify commissioned portraits or illustrations?
Yes, of course, I will show you the drawing during the creation phase. You can request up to 3 modifications; thereafter, a supplement of 50 euros per hour will be necessary.
What are the shipping times?
I ship with Mail Boxes Etc. courier: within Spain it arrives in 3–7 days, and in Europe in 7–10 days. Elsewhere it takes a little longer, depending on the destination and customs.
