The Parmigianer: the pasta bowl cover
Cover for The Parmigianer: a sun diving head-first into a bowl of pasta in broth. In Parma, food is a serious matter… and a very, very happy one.
The Parmigianer is a project with an artistic and narrative focus, inspired by The New Yorker’s international style. It aims to promote the culture, beauty, and all the nuances that make Parma a unique city.
Through illustrations by artists from the region or those who have adopted it, the project highlights the unmistakable essence of Parmigianità—everything that has contributed and continues to contribute to shaping and enriching Parma’s identity.
Its purpose is to generate and regenerate Parmigian culture—at times marvelous, at times contradictory, but always carrying the seed of poetry.
An illustrated tribute to the beauty and uniqueness of Parma through the (real) posters of an (imaginary, for now) magazine. Support the project and the artists involved. Bring a piece of Parmigianità to your home!
