Science editorial- Rachel Carson
Personal project on Rachel Carson.
Rachel Carson (1907–1964) was an American marine biologist, writer, and scientist, considered the mother of the environmental movement. She became famous for her 1962 book Silent Spring , in which she exposed the devastating effects of chemical pesticides—particularly DDT—on the environment, sparking a wave of public awareness and legislative reform in favor of environmental protection.
The world of publishing has always fascinated me, and telling stories through my pencil is my true passion.
